Omniopticon 2021 is a response to observations of increased mistrust of establishments, particularly during these uncertain times. Derived from Foucault‘s panopticon and how the threat of being watched modifies behaviour, Omniopticon explores the complexities of surveillance in the age of technological advancements. The watched is no longer idly surveilled. The many watch the many. The work was created using a mixture of digital collage and CMYK screen printing processes.
